We normally arrange baptisms/Christenings for a Sunday towards the end of a month. 
The Baptism always takes place within the church service at 11am.We like to encourage people to think about not just the words in the service but the actions and what follows it as a result this Baptism. In the service we promise three key things…
- To learn about more about the Christian Faith.
- To pray more for ourselves and our families.
- To be part of the worshipping church.
When a child is brought for baptism, certain promises are made which helps the whole family get used to doing those things.
Before we arrange any possible baptism date we always do some preparation. Baptism tends to be mainly for people who belong to St Mary’s Church or live in our parish.
