USING THE CHURCH AS A COMMUNITY FACILITY
Our aim of is to open the church building to those living in the area, to act as a community hub by offering a range of support services while showcasing the church heritage activities at the same time. So we will do this by offering community infomation and advice about Support Services and using the church as a facilitator through recruitment of outside agencies e.g. Victim Support, CAP (Christian Against Poverty debt management) etc... We anticipate that this approach will engage many local people who would not normally be attracted to such experiences while also giving them opportunities to receive support for their personal circumstances.
