HISTORY OF ST MARY’S CHURCH AND SCHOOL
A history of St Mary’s church has already been written by a parishioner. This has created an opportunity to create a series of activities around the history of church and the local primary school.
The aim is to educate and generate interest and enthusiasm for our church history and the past history of our Victoria School.
To achieve this aim a variety of methods will be used - a concise church history utilising phone apps, social media, eBooks etc. By giving people a greater choice of preferences in communication methods, we will attract greater numbers, in particular children and young people, and those with specific needs who may otherwise be unable to access this work.
